Friday evening February 24 2012, join us at 7:30pm at Contra Costa Water District for a presentation on “Likely & Unlikely Bird Fellows, from finches to macaws; an informative, comical and sometimes tragic discussion of bird companions. What works and what doesn’t.”  Claudia Hunka, owner of Your Basic Bird in Berkeley has been an avid supporter of CCAS for many years. We are pleased to announce she will be our meeting speaker this month. Mark your datebook calendar for February 24 7:30pm at the Contra Costa Water District Board room.

Contra Costa Avian Society meets at 7:30 p.m. on the last Friday of every month.  However, during the holidays a few of our meetings fall on the third Friday of the month.  Please refer to this web site, or our monthly newsletter, the "Cheep News", for the exact date and location each month.

Our meetings are held in the Contra Costa Water District Building at 1331 Concord Avenue in Concord.  It is across the street from the Acura car dealership.
