The Contra Costa Avian Society was founded in 1983 in an effort to educate a growing number of individuals interested in companion birds, breeding birds, and in wildlife. For over 30 years now the CCAS has continued to uphold similar goals focusing on education at the club meetings and outings; advocacy for all companion birds and animals, and empowering bird enthusiasts with avian information, resources, support and more.

Our Club is dedicated to the Propagation, Education and Conservation of Birds. Whether your enjoyment comes from all the many species of birds that frequent your backyard, or you are an exotic parrot owner; we hope you'll find our club informative and fun.

Membership Dues
Our organization offers two levels of membership: Individual and Family. Family memberships include those living in the same household. Membership Dues are collected on an annual basis and can be paid on our website or at any of our meetings or events.
