The Contra Costa Avian Society was founded in 1983 in an effort to educate a growing number of individuals interested in companion birds, breeding birds, and in wildlife.
For over 3 decades, CCAS has continued to uphold similar goals focussing on education at club meetings and outings; advocacy for all companion birds and animals, and empowering bird enthusiasts with avian information, resources, support and more
Our club is dedicated to the Propagation, Education, & Conservation of Birds. Whether your enjoyment comes from the many species of birds that frequent your backyard, or you are an exotic parrot owner; we hope you'll find out club informative and fun.
